Huria: CMS for mobile content under GPL
Jet Multimedia has decided to publish Huria, their Content Management System for mobile websites, under the GPL. It is based on the LAMP (Linux, Apache, Mysql, PHP) stack.
All the website and documentation is currently only available in french.
The installation process is surprising: download one PHP script, put it on your webserver and access it. All this will then be done through your browser, even the download of the software.

Drupal 6.0 released
Described as the easiest version to use ever, the Drupal 6.0 introduces significant enhancements, notably multi-lingual content support out of the box. It also introduces ajaxy features such as drag and drop menu arrangements, and new core components as OpenID support, and actions and triggers. This release also opens the door to CSS-only themes.
ezPublish 4.0 with eZ Flow extension
eZ has released version 4.0 of their ezPublish content management system, together with the first release of the ez Flow extension, which "enables editors to build complex page layouts and pre-plan the publication schedule to ensure a constant flow of rich content", but also supports rich multimedia content and easy-to-use graphical user interface. This new version of ez Publish is fully compatible with PHP 5, and further features versioning, multi-lingual content, webdav interface, possibility to create content in a regular word processor and more.
Plone 3.0 released
Version 3.0 of Plone has been released, after more than a year development. It features Full versioning suppor, Ajax, an upgraded content editor, wiki support and multiple markups, OpenID support, and full-text indexing of Word/PDF.
Plone is a ready to run CMS built on the Zope application server. As such, it stores its contents in Zope's built in transactional object database, the ZODB. Plone is available for Linux, Mac, Windows and other platforms.
