Slides of the Unicore Summit 2007 are now available.
Unicore is a OGSA-compliant Grid middleware. Version 6, available for download, is the latest Web Services-based release. It implements the latest OASIS standard (WSRF 1.2) and runs on Unix OS, Macs and Windows. A live CD distribution is also available.

Version 5 is still available as the well tested version for production use.

GridGain Systems announced the availability of GridGain 1.5 for download. Gridgain is "an enterprise open source grid computing platform for Java" released under the LGPL. It is available for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X systems, and is developed in java 5. A screencast is available illustrating the development with GridGain of a distributed application.
