Nuxeo and Smile announced a partnership. From the announcement, Nuxeo wants to ensure their customers get to find trained, qualified and certified engineers. Smile selected Nuxeo based on their technology choice and their open source approach.

Nuxeo announced a partnership with CapGemini. This is part of CapGemini's "OSS partner" initiative. With the agreement, CapGemini will propose Nuxeo support subscriptions of all levels to its customers.

Here is one more example of an Open Source software provider signing an agreement with an traditional service provider.

Alfresco, the open source Enterprise Content Management solution, is now available in version 2.1 with new possibilities like easier customisation and integration with scripting and REST interfaces, a "Web 2.0" interface.
