Sun announces agreement to acquire Innotek
The acquisition spree continues as Sun acquires Innotek, maker of Virtualbox, "a general-purpose full virtualizer for x86 hardware".

With this buy, Sun, already the top Debian GNU/Linux contributor ahead of IBM and RedHat, is further positioning itself as a reference for free and open source software in the enterprise.
Virtualbox 1.5 released
Innotek released VirtualBox 1.5, the latest version of its open source virtualisation product. Major additions are Intel PXE 2.1 network boot and support for 64-bit Windows hosts. The Download section proposes packages for Windows, Mac OS X and several linux distributions.
