Microsoft opens an open source site

Who ever thought that Microsoft would ever serve an URL with opensource in it? Well, it happened, and it's not even an open source bashing site.http://www.microsoft.com/opensource/ is about Microsoft collaborating with the open source community.

As we've seen earlier with other multinationals, it happens that the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing so it shouldn't be expected that this initiative will stop Microsoft threatening open source with vague patent claims. This however shows how far free and open source software has come in the professional environment.
