Solaris supported by Dell

Dell and Sun signed a Solaris distribution agreement. This will make "the Solaris Operating System (OS) and Solaris support services available directly to customers for select Dell PowerEdge servers. Dell joins others like IBM and HP.

Sun is putting its weight behind Solaris. With easy to install binary distribution of OpenSolaris to come soon out of their Indiana project.
